I used the wool felt polishing tool for polishing small pieces of metal. They worked great. Plus, there are many different sizes and shapes. Definitely would recommend them to others.

Ok. Don’t last long polishing metal. Have gone through 2 on very small projects.

Used it to remove excess solder from stained glass zinc frame

Works very well for buffing my jewelry pieces after applying renaissance was to them. I had applied the wax and hand buffing did not remove it all so there was a sticky residue. I thought I had ruined my jewelry.

Perfect! Worked exactly as expected! All the sizes are perfect too. I used all the different sizes for different parts of my jewelry polishing!

This product was excellent for using polishing compounds of varying grits on different metal surfaces. Works well with adding a shine to plastic surfaces as well. Doesn't create black bands of tarnish at higher rpms. The different tip shapes came in handy for difficult to reach spots. The life span of these felt polishing tips was a nice surprise too. Will purchase these again.

I have to say, I am impressed with these things! They're very tough, and well made.
Also, unlike the 'screw on' type, these premade ones have what I would call a 'sacrificial tip'.
If you have polished too far, the tip eventually breaks off BY DESIGN. Now this is a great thing,
cause if you are polishing something, the LAST thing you want is to drive the shaft's screw
into your nice shiny object. These prevent you from going down to the screw! If you do, it's
clearly your own fault..lol. Unlike the 'screw on style', there's an 'air gap' between the end of the felt tip, and the screw.
These things last a very long time, even polishing in water.
